Hindu deities

Bhramacharani Mata

Parvati lives a life of aeticism, yogin and tapas - It is this aspect of Parvati that is deemed to be that of goddess Brahmacharini- Anvatar celebrated during Navratri.  When I first started the painting I  colored her clothes in saffron and realizing the mistake changed it to white.

    Krishna's flute

Krishna plays his flute and the entire universe dances on its tune. He is the protecter of the universe , omnipresent and  all pervasive. He illuminates the whole universe - the  stars, the planets and even the  vacuum.  Earth is his garland close to his heart and the seven colors his hair. He blows the air of life in his flute and sends his love to us with its enchanting tunes.
